Abstract

Fritillaria forbesii Baker from south‐western Turkey is illustrated and the history of its discovery and present distribution around Fethiye are given. It is compared with the recently‐described Fritillaria mughlae Tekşen & Aytaç, a serpentine endemic from nearby Marmaris.
