HOW
TO USE
|
Firstly
download the latest version of Adobe Reader and then open a PDF in your
browser window. Each PDF contains a portrait
and flower dissection
image with a data box.
Click on the page tab
on the left hand side and a page
thumbnails
will open to aid navigation. When viewing an enlarged image click on
the thumbnail to quickly move the screen view to this section.
|
Each
image has a scale
bar, accession
number and date
the photograph was taken. The flower dissection always has the
inner
tepal on the
left and the outer tepal
on the right and the pedicel
is always shown in full.
|
Although
the whole document is less than 1 MB, each page can be viewed up to
400% with minimal loss of quality. Use the toolbar to Zoom or the loupe tool to
examine smaller sections. The PDF can be printed without loss
of formatting or saved
for viewing off-line.
|
| When
opening PDFs in Google
Chrome the usual Adobe toolbar
and navigation tab
is not displayed. 'Right click' and 'save as' a PDF file to view off
line if these functions are required. |
